Spacious family room, 😊 with an amazing view, and there were two extra beds added in, making it really large.

Hip new hotel in a very beautiful area right by the waterfall, and a bus station. Very polite and fast staff, free wake up calls and ironing. Reasonably spacious room facing garden. Great location, just a walk down to everywhere. Excellent service with excellent cooking.

I arrived at Sinharaja Forest Gate and was immediately enchanted by the breathtaking beauty of the countryside and the lush forest surrounding the lodge. The infinity pool provided a stunning view of the mountainside, where I could relax and take it all in. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the mouthwatering vegetarian Sri Lankan Curry prepared by the talented chef. It was by far the best curry I had during my entire trip. The string hopper breakfast was also a delicious treat. I highly recommend taking the guided forest walk, which allowed me to witness stunning reptiles, birds, and mammals. We even had a refreshing swim at a waterfall. The peaceful atmosphere allowed me to unwind and truly appreciate the serenity of nature. Just a small note, make sure to bring enough cash as everything, including accommodation, food, drinks. I would highly recommend Sinharaja Forest Gate for its exceptional location and experiences.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money is exceptional. The prices were very reasonable considering the stunning location in the beautiful mountains, perfect for bird watching. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive, from the basic amenities provided to the cozy rooms with magnificent mountain views. I loved sitting on the tiny balcony, taking in the breathtaking scenery. The breakfast offered a variety of options to suit all tastes, a great way to start the day.

This place is perfect for those who love nature, as it is located in the beautiful mountains right next to the forest. I enjoyed watching birds and exploring the wild forest. The hotel facilities were clean, with a lovely garden and pool. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. the location was absolutely stunning. Situated in a beautiful mountain area, it was perfect for bird watching and offered breathtaking views. The fact that it is so close to the entrance of the Sinharaja Forest made it even more appealing. Secondly, the service provided by the staff was exceptional. They were friendly, supportive, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The basic amenities in the rooms were well-maintained, and I loved having a tiny balcony with a mountain view. Lastly, the breakfast options were varied and delicious. It was a great value for money.
